Guest guest
These two meditations may loosen up some " stuff " (That's a technical definition here in Canada) for you: 1) Pain as a friendly messenger: Pain is the unconscious process of informing the conscious mind that there is some kind of trauma. In a meditative state, breathe and sink into the pain, yeilding to it, and my experience is that the intensity diminishes to quite comfortable levels. Assume that the pain is a friendly messenger, until proven otherwise. Ask the pain for the message it is trying to convey to you and be ready to receive on all possible levels. Expect an answer that doesn't " fit " , because the unconscious is a very literal thinker/connector. The answer you get will be either an unconscious conflict and/or past life issue, psychic attack, etc. and it is possible for complete relief from the pain with an appropriate " ah-ha " . Your pain medication may have an effect on the effectiveness of the meditation. If you have already learned everything you need to learn about this pain, then I find that the application of Reiki to the location of the pain, during the meditation, will remove the pain. (Healing an energetic habit pattern.) I have used this technique many times, for myself and friends, to relieve migraines, TMJ, idiopathic abdo/chest pain, etc. Always Be Aware of the need to insert this within the overall framework of nutrition, environment, appropriate allopathic care, immediate personal change follow-up, etc. 2) The Big Picture In a meditative state, review the various contexts of your situation that are not only problematic, but are working well. (ie. contexts of: birth family, relationship, personal development, health & fitness, career, spirituality) Then ask yourself; " What are all these an example of " ?
