Guest guest
Rich: I am saddened to hear this, I know that many people came together to present a reasonable defense for energy based therapists staying separate in their practices from the auspices of the massage board in Florida. In spite of their success in NY and NC and other states, FL continues to swallow all other practitioners into their web and distort the letter of the law. That is so unfortunate. As the ante is raised, I am sure that practicing with or without compensation will cease to be an issue also; once it is a felony to practice massage without a license, and since you have to be an MT to perform energy healing there for compensation, people who are innocently sharing their gifts with others may end up being prosecuted and fined because of the poverty consciousness and dogmatism of others. I'll certainly be sending energy to all the practitioners of Reiki and other energy based therapies that will be forced into educating themselves in an unwanted profession in order to do the work in Florida. Bless you all. Guest guest
Caroline, Thanks for your kinds words and support. This is not the end of this issue here in FL. It's just the beginning. I'm not one to sit back and let it happen. I will be talking with others here to form a coalition to free ALL forms of natural healing from the grasp of the greedy and return it back where it belongs.... to everyone. Guest guest
Man's " devil " is sure raising it's head in Florida. Suppose a person doesnt " charge " but accepts free will offerings. http://community.webtv.net/Talks-withtrees/PrayerChain
Guest guest
Doesn't matter. Compensation means recieving " anything " in return for the service. Where they draw the line would be interesting. -- In , Talks-withtrees@w... wrote: > Man's " devil " is sure raising it's head in Florida. > Suppose a person doesnt " charge " but accepts free will offerings. > > > http://community.webtv.net/Talks-withtrees/PrayerChain
