Florida gratitude

I feel that ultimately this challenge will turn out for good in the end.

Perhaps we in Florida are somehow going to bring knowledge of alternatives

more to the mainstream. And perhaps the little guy will [again] show

beaurocracy for the power controlling entity that it is.

 

When I first started on my path, I had to learn a lesson over and over.

That lesson is that I don't " know better " then the Creator, the next person

or the client. All I can do is act on the guidance I receive at the time I

receive it.

 

" Knowing better " is a very deep and insidious trap. Our ego fools us into

thinking that only we know " the right thing " to do. AND it brings all kinds

of proof to support the belief. I am sure that the persons on the boards

are doing the best that they know how. I am equally sure that they could

use a little education. And I have no doubt that Spirit will educate them.

 

So that others will have further understanding of the climate here in

Florida, allow me to share this actual request from our Governor that was

passed down to the masses that work in the state government. Jeb Bush let

it be known that he thought everyone in " his " administration should read an

article called " A Message to Garcia " that was written about the turn of the

century [1900] A journalist wrote this article that was widely reprinted

and read at that time.

 

The gist of that article was that if you need to get something done, then

you were best to get a person like the one that got a message to Garcia

because he would do your task WITHOUT QUESTION !! and would drive himself to

complete the assignment at all personal cost.

 

The thought of a leader in government thinking that not questioning

authority is a virtue is chilling to me. {And remember, all you USA voters,

this is Dubya's little brother.]

 

Sounds to me as if the one so enamored of this article has a bad case of the

" I know betters " .

 

I am deeply grateful for any and all prayers and support as I and my fellows

walk this path.
