Guest guest
Hello Friends: Just updated my main web page with 3 poems and thought I would send this out to the group. My URL is below. Hope that you like this poem, " The Ship... " The Ship... In the stillness of night, a ship sails on by, on peaceful waters, under a moon-lit sky. I stand on the shore and look out to sea, a beacon of light, is now shining on me. The stars high above, seem to be dancing around, the magic of star-dust, fall and cover the ground. What do I feel and what's happening to me? never before, have I felt so serene. The waves of the sea, like diamonds so bright, the harbor of life, ever safe in its sight. The ship comes to me, in times of my strife, comforts and guides, on the journeys of life. Not a person or soul, on this ship, do I see, yet, a presence of love, stands close to me. Tonight in sleep, on this ship I will ride, with the Captain of Life, I'll ever abide. © Copyright 1994 by Harold A.
