Guest guest
Hi All I am contemplating starting a four year program in energetic healing (Hands of Light) at the Barbars Brennan School. I am a registered nurse by training and am close to a degree in psychology. I am 42 and have been a stay at home mom for my two daughters now 14 (in high school) and 18 (in college) and it's appropriate for me to begin my own thing in a big way! I was curious if any of you are familiar with this program, it's graduates and it's phlosophies and I would appreciate any and all comments. With love and light, Sharon
Guest guest
Hi Sharon: I am an Instructor in the Healing Touch program (Levels I and IIA); one of our courses, Level IIB, is basically Brennan's work, and the students are requested to read " Hands of Light " and if possible " Light Emerging " before taking it (although each is a handful LOL) Several of our Level IIB Instructors are Brennan graduates, so I am somewhat familiar with her curriculum. It is a very good (if somewhat expensive) school. I understand she is moving her base to Florida, if she has not done so already. Brennan's work is heavily based on field theory because of her background as a NASA physicist, but she is also very esoteric and works with the chakras, the layers of the aura, inclusions, crystals, pendulums and advanced work with guides. I have found her technique for Hara Alignment to be one of the most useful things I learned in Healing Touch for keeping myself grounded and centered. She was a student of Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere, and some of her techniques reflect Bruyere's work. It might be interesting for you to read " Wheels of Light " as you are considering your educational endeavors. Good luck, I certainly wish that I was in a place to join you! If you would like to speak to one of the IIB Instructors who is a Brennan graduate for more feedback, contact me offlist. Guest guest
Dear Sharon, I am a healer, as you are, as you always will be. Thinking that I could 'learn' something I worked my way through 'Hands of Light', and found many topics of great interest, making copious notes. I then reached the chapter on spirit guides. If you are happy with this concept, then this work will suit you. I am not I am happy to discuss more off list. Love and Light Carol
