Guest guest
During my daily constitutional this morning, I started to ask myself what is the difference between a choice and a sacrifice? Is it simply the emotional attachment we may have to a choice we have to make that makes it a sacrifice? I've been looking at patterns in my life, and looking most closely at the ones I'm having the hardest trouble breaking, or at least replacing with something more healthy, and I was wondering if the foundation of this question was preventing me from following through on some of the choices that I make. Let's take exercise for instance... In order to be exercising, I have to get up off my duff and get out and walk. It seems like it would be a simple choice, after all, it's only half an hour to an hour a day a few days a week, but some part of me must see it as a sacrifice, since it's not an easy thing to accomplish everyday. It seems I have to make this choice on a day to day basis rather than simply considering it a done deal and just doing it. Does anyone else ever think of this kind of thing? How would you define the differences to yourself? Maggie
Guest guest
Maggie have you ever touched a resonance with me. I suffer from severe Vertigo (side effect of my IPCD) but do I use it to stop myself from having to go walks. Yes, I do. I need to get going. Thanks.
