Guest guest
Jim: I agree with you about schizophrenia, it has long been a " pet " of mine as I have worked with unmedicated schiz people before and it seems to be more of a " filtering " problem... however, if they are having dangerous delusions, the medications will keep them banked. I imagine that amongst the ranks of the New Age there are many who a decade ago would have been slapped on Thorazine (myself possibly included! ;-) I'm changing the subject line, because I wanted you to know that you do not spin the chakras when you do the spiral meditation. The spiral is an overall body spiral, from one chakra to the next (do you understand?) So it starts and the heart, goes clockwise to the spleen, clockwise to the solar plexus, clockwise to the high heart, clockwise to the sacral, etc. Eventually you are making a large circle from the ankles around the transpersonal point. You are *not* spiralling the chakras themselves in this technique, your intention is to provide energy for them to open. If you are still having trouble visualizing what I am saying, I can see about scanning a drawing of the spiral and uploading it to the shared files so you can see what I am talking about. It is very hard to communicate by words what you need to see sometimes. Now... back to spiralling the chakras themselves (a totally different thing). When you talk about the " alternating directions of the chakras " I am realizing that you are coming from a different database than I am... in HT we always approach the chakras as " normally " clockwise, and assess them that way, whether penduling or hand scanning. We do not ascribe different spins to male or female, left or right, or alternating chakras. Since we do not see them differently, we treat them all the same. This follows the techniques of the healers we have borrowed techniques from, such as Brugh Joy, Barbara Brennan, Rosalyn Bruyere and Janet Mentgen, none of whom describe or deal with anything but natural clockwise spin. Hope that helps. Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " jimsnow wrote: > Crow: > > Thanks for the description on how to stir the chakras. What I'm wondering about just now is the alternating directions of the chakras. If you were to stir the chakras in the natural direction of spin, as opposed to all of them in the same direction, would that make a difference in the result? > > Psychiatric Ramblings: > > I suspect that there is technically no difference between say a " schizophrenic " , who has voices telling him to do something, and a person with the ability to see entities in the environment or receive messages. There IS a huge difference in what the person is using the skills for... > _____NetZero Free Internet Access and Email______ http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html
