Like you I joined the group to learn....and I guarantee you will! I am more

well versed in the physical things one can do to help themselves and the

people on this list are helping me with the emotional/spiritual areas...

About your problem...are you taking anything at present? Just curious.

Someone suggested Lavander oil, which is excellent...use at pulse points, and

on bottoms of feet. In addition, I would highly suggest the Bach flower

essences...Rescue Remedy to start, when an attack presents itself and keep

taking it every 5-15 minutes if necessary. Other essences can be more

specific...I also use a " nerve calm " herbal formula that I make up, and 90%

of my clients get off medications and eventually don't need the nerve calm,

either! Deep breathing is also wonderful, as well as drinking a full glass

of water when it hits, as well. Some of the herbs in the formula are,

Valerian, Kava, Passion flower, Skullcap, Black Cohosh...in case you can't

find anything simular in your area...of course feel free to email me if you

need more assistance with herb or flower essence questions...

It might also not be a bad idea to have yourself checked out for either food

allergies or candida overgrowth. The allergic responses with either of those

conditions can mimic psychogenic panic attacks as well as creating a general

sense of anxiety.

In my case, it's hard to determine which course of treatment was the one

that did it (assuming that there was was only one cause), but when I started

avoiding the foods that I have +2 IgG responses and started treating the

candida overgrowth, I noticed that I was less apprehensive generally.

No way of telling without tests, but it could be worth looking into if there

are no identifiable psychological causes.
