out of place and yoga panic point

Sandra,

 

Welcome to Bodymind! You're certainly not out of place, for, professional or

not, are any of us more than another? Are any of us more than seekers?

 

There is a point on your sternum that I once heard about in yoga, then again

in massage school. It is a point you can stimulate yourself to reduce panic.

I forget the details..does anyone on the list know more about this?

 

Another thing I find helpful with fear/panic is grounding. If possible, I

take my shoes off and walk on the earth or touch the earth with my hands. If

that is not possible, just visualize the earth's stability and yourself

feeling safe and protected by her energy.

 

Hope this helps, and I'd appreciate anyone's input with the panic button.
