I hear this...

Echo

of the phrase

repeating - repeating

into the past

 

and down this tunnel I slide,

Down

to a moment towering over

critical - crushing

thoughtless omnipotence

 

pure, unconditional

Trusting

exquisitly learning

please - please, it Must be Me!

pleasing intent wasted

 

Face Down that ghost to see:

what intelligence! was there before

what creativity! was there then

what commitment! was there since

what else! Always was there Now!

 

Believing, once done

Can be done again

Choose to Believe

in YourSelf!
