Hi! In my opinion, this book is an attempt by a physicist to put some scientific statements out there to justify energy work. She also has a school of learning in New York or New Jersey. I know several graduates of this school. She also has other books. However, be careful about using this book as a " bible " because the pictures are not exactly right along with some other things. Guest guest
Sandra Hands of Light is a very good book, Barbara Brennan explains things about how the energy works and the different layers and how it effects our bodies and emotions, and mental and spiritual parts of us. I have learned a lot from both of her books Cathy Mcv1052

Guest guest
Hello Sandra, I've had that book for years. I enjoy it when I read it. It's also good to hand to clients and let them see that there is more going on than meets the eye. -Kathrin
Guest guest
in reponse to Pam's take on the " Hands of Light " book. Whenever someone attempts to draw what they see as energy it's good to remember that just as we see things in life differently and experience things in different ways that there are a myriad of ways of interpreting energy. Most people find their own way of interpreting how they see energy. In my humble opinion, just because there is some difference in how people see this is not a reason to denigrate someone else's experience. I do not know what Pam's intention was but her post seems to imply that Barbara Brennan is trying to " put one over " on the scientific community. I too know quite a few graduates of the school and although there are perhaps some things they would change about the school I have heard a lot about how much they have learned and how they are applying it with success. Not everyone appreciates some of how she works and there is a former student who has started his own teaching program in the south. If anyone is interested in that I could get the name from a friend. I am certainly not implying that Pam's opinion is not valid....just that it is merely one opinion.....as this is too. -Kathrin

Guest guest
I have the book, and it is a very good one. It talks about what you need to work on to become a medical intuitive, and gives a lot, let me reemphasize the, A LOT of really useful information. She started from the standpoint of a Physicist for NASA, and then went to psychologist before she became a healer so she looks at this stuff from a more scientific point of view than most. One of my teachers studied with her, and well, I was just very impressed with the information and the concepts. Guest guest
Kathrin-- I can see that what I posted was slightly misunderstood. I agree that all experiences are different. I was not implying this is some type of farce. I was trying to state the same as you but warning that the visualizations are not valid for all. The book is presented as an authority to those who have no idea about this subject and therefore, to the average reader, it brings across the idea that all " see " the same way. That was all it meant. No one told me about this and it created me some real problems. Pam
