ASK SICK PEOPLE FOR MONEY. THEY DO NOT JERK SICK CHILDREN AROUND!!!!

 

The letter you sent to the list is some idiot's idea of fun.

 

The good news is that there are caring and compassionate people like Katrina on

this list--people who care about sick children and wish to make a difference.

 

The bad news is that, in most cases, these horrible sad stories (which always

make me cry) invariably turn out to be Internet hoaxes or someone's cruel idea

of a joke.

 

Oh, please, please think before forwarding these 'Internet chain letters'. It

just encourages these cretins to continue their idiocy, and turns many people

off to charities and people with true and real problems. There have been so

many different 'scams' that I think most people just delete them without reading

them. Whenever in doubt, please contact the charity named in the letter. I'm

sure that they will be happy to let you know that they would never be cruel

enough to make a sick child 'jump through hoops' in this manner, and to let you

know where and how you can make a charitible donation that *will* make a

difference.

Hi Richard!

 

I applaud you for making a statement on the

above-mentioned subject. I think it's about time

someone stood up to these bogus e-mails that seem to

keep circulating through the internet. What

especially upsets me is the statement they make that

bad luck will come to you if you don't forward this

message or what goes around comes around! This is no

way to treat our internet friends!
