Guest guest
>>In what dose was this taken and how. I don't think raw herbs are well absorbed Just clarifying the above phrase. Do you mean 'raw' as in unprepared, unboiled, etc. or 'raw' as in 'bulk' herbs which are then prepared by boiling and so forth? Thanks, Peter Eschwey, L.Ac. However freeze dried herbs like eclectic institute seem to preserve some properties of the fresh plant, which I did not mean.

Guest guest
Hi Bobbi, Yes, We are still discussing about licensing requirements. At the moment here in W. Australia, there is no legislation from the health department regarding the qualifications of the practitioner. TCM (including acupuncture) is a fairly new concept here which the general public is just beginning to accept. There is no undergraduate course here, what I am currently doing is a postgraduate course (I am a registered nurse) and my classmates have all done a course in natural medicine or other related courses. We are currently negotiating with the registration board in South Australia, for some form of guideline, for us to be registered as practitioners, it is all very slow going. We just have to persevere. Cheers Jacquie acupuncture [acupuncture ] Tuesday, 5 November 2002 1:33 AM acupuncture acupuncture Digest Number 454 There are 5 messages in this issue.
