Guest guest
Ok, here is what I have gleaned so far. Correct me, those of you in the know. Kundalini is an energy. Seems to be different from Reiki energy that is " out there " and can be channeled through a practitioner into whatever. Kundalini seems to be inside a person. While it is inside a person, it starts out in a dormant state. Shall I say " sleeping? " It awakens as a result of some intense (deliberate?) form of meditation. Sometimes this awakening is intentional, sometimes not. When it awakens, it rises through the chakras and (quoting now) " bursts through the crown chakra. " This may be why it is referred to as " kundalini rising. " It seems that the physical body needs to be prepared in some way before the kundalini awakening is a pleasant experience. If the physical body is not prepared, then the awakening of kundalini energy can feel like hell. This is why it is a good idea to do the meditations and the awakening under the tutelage of a master of some sort. If the body IS prepared, then the awakening can be a very powerful experience. Not sure what that means. Can you levitate your car keys from behind the couch? Are you tapped in to the Akashic Record and witness all things past present and future? Can you communicate meaningfully with your in-laws? Not really able to DO anything with this newfound energy but are suddenly so Enlightened and Cool that you Just Don't Care? Am I anywhere near the mark with any of these speculations? Anukki www.AnniesHands.com

Guest guest
Anukki.... Based on my limited experience, I think that you have summarized it very well, except for the part about levitating the car keys from behind the couch. Rather, the Kundalini energy would allow you to know that the car keys are behind the couch when otherwise you would not have been able to find them. Also, I'm not exactly clear about the relationship among magnetic (from the earth) and radiatory (from the Universal Source) and Kundalini energies. How, for example, do they relate to one another and to Chi (Ki, Qi) and to pranic energy. -- --------------------------- Joel P. Guest guest
Yes Barbara, your post does help a lot. I felt my consciousness expand even while I was reading it. When I realize that I am more than this simple pot of clay that I walk around in, I can be more at ease with all the darkness and pain I see around me, and I can be more at ease with the light and joy. I can simply be at ease. When my being connects with That Which Is Above, I am content. Thank you my friend for taking the time to help this Little One understand a thing a bit better. Guest guest
Hi Annuki, Barbara here ... I Have A few comments to Annuki's post that are inserted below ... on 1/7/01 9:45 AM, Anukki at Anukki wrote: Ok, here is what I have gleaned so far. Correct me, those of you in the know. Kundalini is an energy. Seems to be different from Reiki energy that is " out there " and can be channeled through a practitioner into whatever. Kundalini seems to be inside a person. Comment: That is correct. Rei Ki energy enters our body through the Crown chakra as its center while Kundalini energy center is in our perineum, inside our energy body. While it is inside a person, it starts out in a dormant state. Shall I say " sleeping? " It awakens as a result of some intense (deliberate?) form of meditation. Hopefully the info quoted above addresses how this energy is of service to us. Am I anywhere near the mark with any of these speculations? You are close I think Annuki, just know that the intent of pursuing Kundalini awakening is for the purpose of spiritual progression and for me that is powerful. Not powerful in the sense that I am more powerful, but that it is a powerful tool to facilitate spiritual evolvement. For me, the goal of the human journey is enlightenment and Kundalini activation " powerfully " assists in that process. Hope this helps ....
