Guest guest
In the past, the meridians have been foreign and confusing to me. Guest guest
Carolyn and group, Take a Touch for Health class or just buy one of their books, they are the American grandfathers who integrated Eastern meridian knowledge and Western kinesiology. Any debate on that ? Be Balanced, Boom

Guest guest
Hi Folks, While I am aware of some of the 'new and improved' methods the younsters are coming up with, sometimes going back to the basics can still work well. When learning anything, 'association' serves to connect and so retain the desired info. In the early 70's meridians were intoduced to the U.S. in a way we could relate. Drs. Goodheart and Thie discovered the correlation between a meridian's energy level and indicator muscles which could be balanced together. Hence the very complicated Eastern system was put into physical terms for the Western 'button-down' mind. So I repeat, use T for H for the groundwork wherever you plan to go. It reminds me again of how Michael Blate's G-Jo Acupressure Handbook Vol.1 puts any other I've seen to seek simplicity. Most Westerners don't want or need to learn meridians they are expedient, want reief now or sooner. Mike gives a menu of symptoms and control centers, maybe some more explanation then gives you points by number spots to start pushing and balancing the energy. I have used his simple settup since '78 in the field as well as the office. Some of the people put back on their feet (on the job) would not have were we to have to 'know the meridian' K.I.S.S (keep it simple soupy) You are fun, so many of you are new to the (w)holistic concepts acknowledging body*mind, and some of us have been attempting to 'crack the nut' soo long we're on the second run. I am among those seeing this probably too early and taking lumps the establishment likes to deliver off-hand. Now education and persistence has yielded a broader view and even a glut of alternatives, a 'healthier environment,' agreed, tho we have a long way to go. The 'drug pushers' won't be going away, and notice the blitz of ads lately to reinforce. My next message will be to seek your assorted youthfull and/or mature points-of-view about a transformational therapy I have recently heard about and will probably be looking into post haste. It has good history and very progressive outlook regarding locating cause(s) and determining natural solution(s) utilizing my dear old friend, gentle ()kinesioogy) muscle testing for whole body response(s). So, I'll take, and give you, a break only to pick it up later, Boom
