Earthquake headaches

Wow, Jen!

That's pretty significant! It was around 2.5. I think that's pretty 'shallow',

but we and our dogs have obviously felt something!

The quake was centered, I think, around Long Island City, but was felt in the

Northern NJ area and throughout the boroughs. We didn't feel anything here at

the shore, but this is just too much to be a coincidence.

Pretty weird for us on the east coast, but kind of cool, I suppose, to feel so

'tuned in' to nature.

I've heard that a fault line actually runs up the east coast of America

(Blue Ridge/Appalachian Mt. range). Is this true?

I have also heard that NYC is due to have an earthquake at some point and

could be devestated by such a quake as nothing is really built for it there.

If I have been misinformed, someone please let me know!

The fault lines are there -- we only hear about the ones in CA.

We have one here in the Wichitas Mountains and there is also one in

Missouri -- that one hit the news when they didn't have the quake
