Guest guest
Having just had my first experience with an earthquake and the " early warning system " of anxiety-ridden dogs and major headaches, I have another question for anyone who might have had similar experiences: I went to the doctor's office yesterday complaining of really severe pressure and pain in my ears. I have a history of chronic sinusitis, and was wondering if I had some sort of infection. She found nothing wrong and suggested that my seasonal allergies might be starting a bit early. Could this pressure and earache have been another reaction to the upcoming seismic event/change in atmospheric pressure? Thanks for the info. I sincerely hope that this topic is of interest to others. I promise I won't bore the list with any more questions unless something extraordinary occurs. Florrie Could the chronic sinusitis be related in any way with a food intolerance ? Check out http://www.foodcanmakeyouill.co.uk Our diets have changed dramatically since the industrial revolution and not every body has adapted well to the increase in grains in the diet. Not surprisingly there are an increasing number of people discovering their vague illnesses are related to intolerance to different foods. The increase in take away foods and preprepared stuff which rely heavily on grains is a contributing factor. Cheers Liz
Guest guest
Was the pain in the sinus like being stabbed repeatedly with an ice pick. Guest guest
Hmmm - just gave a seminar last night in the Boston area on dietary therapy that might help you. Are you familiar with Oriental medicine and what blows away the energetic system that relates to excess phlegm in the body? I just changesed servers for my site so I no longer have the info on autoresponder. I would be happy to elaborate but it's long. Patricia Gilmore, C.M.Ht. Guest guest
Thank you for your response. The very little I've learned about Oriental Medicine is fascinating to me, and I would be quite interested in learning more. I'd appreciate it if you would keep me in mind when the information again becomes available. Florie
Guest guest
Florie there is a great book called Healing with Whole Foods by Paul Pitchford about using oriental principles in diet to heal the body. Mostly if you have sinus trouble remove as much dairy from your diet as possible, as decrease wheat products. Amazing what the difference will be. Good luck, I have changed my need for antihistamines and sinus remedies. Now only infrequent headaches when I overindulge in milky things. Be love and laugh!!
