Guest guest
Hi Folks - Dandelion tea or soup used to be the favored method for spring body cleaning in the olden days of English yore (still is for many French and Dutch). Dandelion coffee, procurable in health food stores, also works or you can use fresh dandelion leaves in salads. Dandelion is a diuretic superior to most synthetic diuretics produced by pharmaceutical companies, according to " Culpeper's Color Herbal " edited by David Potternton (1983). It opens and cleanses the urinary tract (leaves) and liver (roots) and it helps relieve insomnia caused by fevers. Its diuretic effect is further helpful with relieving rheumatism and eczema.
