Guest guest
Thank you for sharing your dream. It has alot of wisdom in it. I found it helpful for issues of my own that need healing. Celeste
Guest guest
The other night I had a dream which was portentious for me. In it, one of my " old faithful " guides, an elderly Native shaman, was walking along with me, listening to me process my issues surrounding my abusive Grandmother. He has heard it before, ad nauseum. I have tried all sorts of things to " let go " . I am feeling stuck with it, and becoming frustrated with myself. He is uncharacteristically quiet. So, he walks off for a moment, and comes back with the child me; standing behind her with his hands on her shoulders, he thrusts her forward at me and says, " You tell her. You tell her that she must live her life enslaved to anger and resentment. " I looked down into my own eyes, and I found that I wanted more than anything else to keep the desperate hope living there... I couldn't speak. After talking to my husband Mani about the dream, I have mulled it deeply and have decided that the best way I can let go of this is to stop dwelling on my perpetrator, and focus more on healing this child; after all, who deserves the lion's share of the energy? I have been sending little packets of love, peace and patience back to myself, and sending them forward to the self I am becoming. If all time is now, then the woman I am now can support and profit from both the innocence of my inner girl and the wisdom of my inner elder. As I grow older and creeping issues with motherhood become twisted with the flowers of my desires to have children of my own, I am glad that we are capable, if we are willing, to weed out the intruders and replant ourselves when we become rootbound in the pots we were planted in as children.
