Guest guest
Hello All! I'm new to the group and lately I've been unfortunate enough to get a horrible rash of what appears to be either poison oak or poison ivy. i live in berkeley and am told that it's more likely to be poison oak. anyway, i'm deathly allergic and have tried homeopathic remedies, but the rash continues to spread. i've been resisting going to a doctor, but i'm losing hope. does anyone know of a good cure for this? thanks, carla Auctions - Buy the things you want at great prices. http://auctions./

Guest guest
Jewel Weed also known as Touch Me Not, is an excellent remedy. This plant grows in moist shady spots. I live in VA and it grows by a small stream near my home. Grind up leaves and stems and put on poison. HOmeopathics? Urine on it (ones own). Have tried washing well with dial soap followed by BandAid anti-itch gel (recommendation I found on the Internet)but it is still spreading and is very red and itches to drive me nuts. Also tried this clay stuff....it didn't seem to help much. Had for 2 days. Thank you very much. ********************************************* WWW.PEACEFULMIND.COM Sponsors Alternative Answers- HEALING NATURALLY- this is the premise of HOLISTIC HEALTH. For poison ivy I have used Fels Napta (laundry soap) the bar soap. Good luck in trying to find it but I know the plant is located in Phila. I bought up the last 5 bars here at Acme. You can also get homopathic pills at a natural health food store for poison ivy . When it comes to any skin eruptions (shingles being the worse, cuts or bruises I use apple cider vinegar and depending on the situation also go with collidial silver for the healing. I might also suggest zinc oxide but do not spread just dab. Jane
