Guest guest
Thanks for Joe Brennen's number. I'll call him this week. Only knew Jean at the wake but I wasn't surprised. It's been many years and then we weren't very close. Mom and his Mom were friends. Love, Mom/Celeste
Guest guest
Laurie: A spin-off from Jane's suggestion: I'm logging on after a long absence so I don't know the story about your daughter. However, what Jane is talking about is similar to an NLP process called " anchoring " , which you can read about in Richard Bandler's book " Frogs Into Princes " . It's a simple technique that is based on the work of Pavlov and Twitmeyer. I suspect that if you combined the ETF process with the patterns and timing of anchoring, you would have something that would work extremely well. Take Care, Jim

Guest guest
Dear Laurie-- Jim is spot on! FROGS INTO PRINCES is a wonderful introduction to NLP, and should be on everyone's bookshelf. Another recommendation: After you've become comfortable with NLP and the quick and effective changes it will provide, please check out the book, HEART OF THE MIND by Connirae and Steve Andreas (ISBN 0-911226-31-1). It has very effective NLP interventions that can be useful to everyone. The chapters 'Healing Traumas', 'Phobias, Traumas, and Abuse', and 'Dealing With Disaster' might be especially helpful for you and your daughter. Great book. Hope this helps a bit. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the book recommendations. NLP is something I've heard of but don't really know much about. I am compiling a book list for my next trip to Borders Bookstore and have added both of these! Thanks!! Laurie " Richard M.
