Guest guest
Dear All, I have read with interest the information about restoring Yin energy. I have the opposite problem myself in that I have too much yin energy and insufficient yang. I often crave spicy food as a result, and suffer from a tiredness and lethargy if I don't get a regular dosing of sunshine (luckily I live in Queensland, Australia where we have lots of beautiful sunlight). Can anyone advise me of dietary or other ways to boost yang energy? Thankyou!! Guest guest
Anneliese How are you coming to your conclusion? Are you basing your self-diagnosis on symptoms or a hands on assessment? Pulses and tongue can tell the story far better than symptoms. Just curious. Patricia Gilmore, C.M.Ht. Guest guest
Patricia, I am basically going on what I have been told by a number of people. I have never had a formal diagnosis as such. The comments I have had from people, two of whom were Qi Gong practitioners, were derived more from them picking up on my temperament and personal energy. I have never really suffered from anything, other than tiredness and feeling low at times. Sometimes though I feel completely fantastic and content and at peace. My main interest is in being able to maintain that feeling as I believe that should be the natural state that people should feel (for most of the time anyway). thanks Anneliese .. Guest guest
I did a lot when I was younger - not runny nose so much as consistently completely blocked. It has only been in the last few years that I am able to breathe normally through my nose as opposed to having to through my mouth. Now I might get the occassional bout of hayfever, but nothing too intolerable. pine [pine] Tuesday, 13 February 2001 1:30 AM Re: Yin / Yang do you suffer from a running nose? tendency to " too much mucus " ? > > > > **************************************** > Visit the community page: > For administrative problems -owner > To , - > > All messages, files and archives of this forum are copyright of the group and the individual authors. > **************************************** Visit the community page: For administrative problems -owner To , - All messages, files and archives of this forum are copyright of the group and the individual authors.
