Invitation - Personal Growth Pilot Workshop

I would like to be a part of the Personal Growth Workshop pilot.

 

I have always been interested and involved in persoanl growth as a

pastoral psychotherapist. At the present, I have the time to

participate as I am recovering from an extended illness, my husband has

had a brain hemorrhage and this has precipitated a major move with many

unexpected changes as well as the anticipated ones. My life experience

tells me that there is growth in all of this but sometimes it is

difficult to maintain that perspective. I have come throught the most

difficult time, I think, and things are settling down.

 

I also have a vision for a healing center that has once again surfaced

through all of this. I think it may be time to focus my energies in that

direction. My illness led me to believe I would not be alive at this

age, so I limited my goals and have, essentially, accomplished the ones I

had and spent my time dealing with my husband's and my illness. Now, I

need to set new goals and get a new sense of direction for my life.

 

My expectations would be to explore my options, set new goals for a new

direction in my life and follow my bliss. I would also hope to develop a

sense of community with other seekers.

 

I have never attended a workshop before as I have just discovered your

website. It looks interesting.

The Seeker's Circle is creating an exciting new online

workshop entitled, " The Art of Personal Growth. " In this

workshop, we'll discuss setting goals, overcoming fears,

learning what we really want to do with our lives, finding

learning patterns in our lives, and discovering our Soul

Purpose.

 

We are searching for 30 students to complete this four week

pilot program -- free of charge. In order to participate in

this pilot program, you must be willing to deeply and

completely commit to the entire four week program, and give

detailed feedback about the pilot workshop. We will use

your feedback to edit the workshop for future students. The

workshop will require about 5 hours per week of your time.

 

The pilot will take place in April or May 2001, online at

The Seeker's Circle web site (http://www.seekerscircle.com).

The online workshop will be a combination of:

 

* Lessons posted on a students-only web site, which you

can download and read privately

 

* Discussions on a students-only message board, including

exercises you can try on your own or with other

students

 

* Personal journaling and art, to do on your own (no, you

don't have to be an artist!)

 

* One online chat, to discuss what we're learning and to

answer any questions students have

 

This is a self-study, self-paced online workshop, with daily

access to the instructor via the message board.

 

If you are interested, please send an email to

growth. Include in your email:

 

* why a Personal Growth workshop would be important to

you at this point in your life

 

* what you hope to achieve by taking a Personal Growth

workshop

 

* if you have attended other Personal Growth workshops in

the past, please let us know what you liked most about

them, and what you liked least about them.

 

We will be selecting the 30 students by March 31, 2001.

Selections will be made based on your comments in your

email.

 

(Crow, you'll recognize this " pilot " format, as it's the same concept

we used for the Medical Intuition pilot.)

we're still gathering names of potential pilot students. We will be

selecting the 30 students on March 31, so if you haven't submitted

your name yet, there's plenty of time.
