I hope that someone can help me:

I was sending reiki to a friend with a breast lump a couple of days ago and

I " got " that she should try Dong quai (Angelica root). All I know is that

my mother-in-law prepares it as a soup for " cleaning out " after

menstration.

Any other information as to its benefits and/or preparation would be

gratefully recieved.

I have told my friend to see her GP and maybe I could recommend a herbalist

to her as an adjunct.

Hi

I have used dong gui for tthe hormonal part of my seizures. It has helped

tremendously. I use to get 10 to 12 in a day and now I don't get hardly any

at all. I have also used dong gui to help my muscle spasms because of my

arthritis.

It is a very good blood tonic and rich in alot of vitamins

Next to ginseng, dong quai is the most used chinese herb.

Used for regulating female hormeones, it's good for PMS and Menopause.

Usually combined with mexican wild yam, chaste tree berries and/or

black cohosh.
