Guest guest
Hi, Do you have any particular training/certification for RNs and/or counselors? Thanks, Celeste
Guest guest
I sent a holistic-oriented MD friend (Bill Manahan) a short note and the URL http://ahha.org/hcarticle/kolbhcarticle.htm for an article by Susan Kolb on establishing an integrated [allopathic and holistic] health care center. These people happen to be people doctors, but IMO the TREND also bodes well for people who'd like to see wider availability of holistic animal care. Here's Bill's reply to me - which he has given my permission to share. *************************************************** Thanks for the info on Susan Kolb and her Center. I am excited that more and more Center's such as Susan's are being started. I know Susan, and she will do a good job. I was just with Susan in Denver in December. She was there to take our first board certification exam in holistic medicine. We were ecstatic that 274 physicians took the exam. We were hoping for 100. I am in charge of this year's exam and review course. It will be at the St. Paul Radisson Hotel from Nov. 4 to 8. For information regarding the 4-day holistic medicine review course, contact Chris Carlstrom at the University of Minnesota at carls020. The dates are November 4 to 7, 2001. The times they are achanging! *************************************************** Rich Putman in Minnesota Time is a great healer. That's why they make you wait so long in a doctor's office. <A HREF= " http://EarnSave.homestead.com/testimonies.html " >examples of unsolicited health testimonies</A> http://EarnSave.homestead.com/testimonies.html
Guest guest
Rich... I agree re: the trend in holistic animal care increasing. 10 years ago, there was only one holistic vet in my area...now there are 3. There are also some great books available on holistic health care for animals. As we learn to take care of our OWN bodies, our OWN homes, and our OWN environment, let's not forget our furry friends. Talk about TRULY holistic, eh? Peace, Karyn http://www.seekerscircle.com
