Guest guest
Hi Pine: In particular, what is it about getting your driver's license that is bothering you? Is it taking a test, driving on demand, or having to look at that picture that always seems to make us look like a deer in the headlights <LOL>? Test anxiety is a very common issue. I believe that there are several reasons for this, not the least of which is all the pressure we have on us when we are young to succeed, even to be perfect. If not handled properly, this can lead to our creating a set of false beliefs about our abilities and contribute to the feeling that we are never " good enough " , " smart enough " , " pretty enough " , whatever. I'm sure you've studied the preparatory material and you're more than ready intellectually to take the test and pass it. You might consider having a hypnosis session or listening to a hypnosis tape for performance anxiety. In addition, I'd like to suggest that you try a meridian therapy. Some of the folks here will be glad to offer you pages for EFT, and I have a page up that explains TAT: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/tat.html Hope this is helpful! Focus on where you are going, not on what the hazards are. In other words imagine that invisible line that's right down the center of where you want the car to go and follow that line exactly. You will never cut a corner or swing too wide when you STAY ON THE LINE. This technique works for race car drivers and sure helps on that driving test. It's also a positive focus for your mind during the test so there will be no room for anxiety.. rusty
