Guest guest
Hi Folks: Be on the lookout for a new trojan with the name of " My Babypic " or something similar. There are several aliases of the same program. This is new material, as in, yesterday, so I am sending out this information hopefully before you get the post. As you all know, I never pass anything along without checking it first. I went to the Trend Micro page, and here is the info: http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/ This is considered a " medium risk " trojan program, and includes an .exe file attachment. DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. Simply delete and ignore the post. If you think you have been infected (in other words, if you opened the .exe) then check the site for antivirus software you can use to fix the problem. As with most all of these virus/trojans/worms, it requires Windows to work, so Mac users should not be affected in any way. Here is the original information I received from a list member and have verified by checking the antivirus websites: --\ --------- I've had a reliable virus warning through from Trend Micro (they were right about Anna Kournikova). New virus out in the wild - something like this comes through on email: ****************** My Babypic Body: Its my animated baby picture!!! Attachment: MYBABYPIC.EXE ****************** Don't open the attachment! If it hits you, try Trend Micro's website to get it cleaned up: http://www.antivirus.com/download --\ -------------- Thanks, Caroline
