> I have a patient with the same problem. She had severe bloating and

flatulence. the first week on Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang was great then it came

back. After another week of discomfort we did Bao He Wan. Great for 1 week then

its back. A week later back to Xiang Sha but not

> very good results. Straight Shen qu Cha was good or a few days. Had her

continue the Xiang Sha but still bad... (this story does not have a good

outcome, by the way). So this delicate patient continues to suffer the

condition.

I think the main problem is she is very unhappy with her fate/job/life. To the

point that I gave her Gan Mai Da Zao tang to control crying spells. I'll get

back to you on the results. My feeling is that the gut is trying to work its way

around the emotions. In other words the

Mind is trying to find release in the endorphens (?) in the stomach.

><<does anyone know of a good acupuncture school in new york?>>

Have you considered Tri-State in NY?

I'm a first year acupunture student in NJ. My acupuncturist is from

Tri-State and many of my instructors are Tri-State graduates and I

have found them to be excellent. I have no other basis of comparison.

There is one student in our school who transferred out of Pacific. I

believe because she felt the class sizes were too large.
