Hi Folks:

 

My apologies for the recent spate of entire newsletters being sent to the

list...

while I have read most of the information being sent to the list, I realize that

these things bulk up the digests and are not generally appreciated by everyone.

I'd like to ask that if you have an interesting news piece or segment that you

" cut/paste " it into a post, offer to send it to the list edited, or send the URL

for the site where it can be read, as Karen and Michelle do. Many of these

newsletters can add many KB to a digest and people with small bandwidths may

have

to unsub or will bounce mail from the list :-(

 

So it would be polite and courteous if we would all consider that when we post

to

forums like this, not to send really large posts but instead to edit them or

create a text file and upload it to the shared files area so that everyone can

enjoy it with a minimum of fuss. Some folks may even sub to these newsletters

directly themselves, and don't need them coming at them from every discussion

group as well.
