It worries me because his father who is now passed away, had his first heart attack around his age(35 years old). >> Your concern is sure understandable. After all, cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer in the USA. I'll give several suggestions and you can pick and choose ... or reject all of them. <G> COLOR If the colors in your home are of the exciting variety (e.g. red), you might consider changing to more relaxed colors. SOUND Get some CDs to soothe. That's not to say " put him to sleep " . Classical guitar can be relaxing, Strauss Waltzes soothe the soul. Some new age music is " cool " . As an example, I really enjoy the CD Medicine Woman by Medwyn Goodall. BUT it will be challenging to find music that will help your husband that is also music he will like. SMELL I'm not an aroma oils expert, but there are different oil scents that are supposed to be soothing. You could check into that with someone who knows a lot more than me on the subject of aroma therapy. DIET Some people react very badly to white sugar - it makes them HYPER. Too much coffee can also throw a person's system off. Going to a " healthy " diet could help; but that's a BIG subject - too much to get into here. EXERCISE A sport like tennis or racquetball is great to work off pent up energy. Whacking a ball not only provides physical exercise, it also releases mental tension. SUPPLEMENT The University of Wisconsin medical researcher who discovered [around two decades ago] that aspirin can help prevent a second heart attack has continued to do research. He has come up with a much better solution than aspirin - supplement oriented rather than drug oriented. But there's too much to that story for this brief summary type post. If you'd like to go into more detail on any of the ideas I've brought up, I'd suggest contacting me by direct e-mail.
