Guest guest
hi caroline yes there is a relationship between western an eastern zodiacs the rabbit/cat types relate to pieces. duality again. by watching different people I discovered that rabbits/cats are beautiful creatures and moderate and hormony seekers. they avoid conflicts and they give you space. good for you! tigers have to learn from rabbits a lesson: to practice moderation and avoide unnecesary wars. I love rabbits/cats. they are kind, timid, perceptive, sweet and intelligent and they have a good common sense - something that tigers lack .... also we are both felines, anat
Guest guest
Hi Anat: That is very kind, imagining me to be timid; I think I am more like the rabbits in Watership Down ;-) Actually, when I was a child, I had a couple of rabbits, but once I realized people actually ate rabbits, I certainly lost a lot of the joy of it. I still love the surprise of seeing wild rabbits when I am wandering outdoors. This is my public service announcement, being a Chinese Rabbit, for the upcoming Oester/Easter holidays... actually my favorite holiday since childhood. Nothing like a new pair of white shoes and a solid chocolate bunny the size of your head! Ahem... please don't buy rabbits, chicks or ducklings for children and discourage others from doing so, especially as holiday gifts. Many children lose their delight in the pets quickly after they realize the amount of work keeping an animal is, and if the parents are busy (which they usually are) the poor animals end up dropped off at farms, shelters, and even released in the wild. Doing that to a domestic animal is like hanging a " free lunch " sign around their neck. Not only are domestic rabbits unable to survive in the wild, they can't breed in the wild here either, since most of our native wild rabbits are incompatible with them. OK, off the soapbox. I had not been aware until recently that people were setting domestic rabbits loose here in Massachusetts, where there is a large feral community of cats, as well as foxes and coyotes. It gave me a tooth gritting moment to read a feature in the Globe about it last week. There is something I can't put my finger on about cats; they seem to be one of the only animals, besides man, who will kill for amusement rather than for food, yet they also seem to have a high capacity for self-possession and zen. I personally prefer their company to dogs, though... maybe that says something about me, but I hesitate to go there <G> Blessings, Crow > " pine " <pine > > > year of the rabbit >Tue, 10 Apr 2001 22:02:46 +0300 > >hi caroline > >yes there is a relationship between western an eastern zodiacs > >the rabbit/cat types relate to pieces. duality again. > >by watching different people I discovered that rabbits/cats are beautiful >creatures >and moderate and hormony seekers. they avoid conflicts and they give you >space. good for you! >tigers have to learn from rabbits a lesson: to practice moderation and >avoide unnecesary wars. > >I love rabbits/cats. they are kind, timid, perceptive, sweet and >intelligent >and they have a good common sense - something that tigers lack .... >also we are both felines, > >anat > > > _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
