Guest guest
LOL... hey, stop it, Audrey, you are giving me ideas, it makes my head hurt <LOL> Let me ponder this, it might be that something can be set up somewhere to do this in an organized fashion that will allow everyone to interact in the group with a message board as well as maybe do some group journeying via live chat. (Karyn Greenstreet just introduced me to the Voice Chat feature through through her Intuition Development group at Clubs; can you imagine, Karyn, having someone drum for you via an internet chatroom? The world gets smaller every day.) Blessings, Crow >audreylee > > > Re: power animals >Wed, 11 Apr 2001 13:43:58 -0000 > >Crow, >I'm ready! Guest guest
Crow... I am soooo there! Drumming in voice chat, chanting in voice chat, meditation and invocation in voice chat... Isn't the internet cool? I am definitely enjoying teaching via voice chat! (Saves those achy finger joints from so much typing.) Peace, Karyn http://www.seekerscircle.com
Guest guest
Hello All... Well, I've finished the instructions for a basic journey and a journey to retrieve power, and will be posting them from my shaman page this week. I am working with hubby to get the downloadable audio file that is promised on the site up, it is not done yet as we are still debating on size and format for it. Karyn, I'm curious about how Winter got her stuff into .AU for the MI class, was that difficult? Did she do it directly into the computer or transfer it from a tape? Here is the revised shamanism page with addendums, have fun exploring and bear in mind it's still in progress (I'll post when I have the drumming file up for use). http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/shaman.html Blessings, Crow > " Karyn G. Guest guest
Dear Crow, I am also very interested in your journeying class....your shaman page is really interesting and I can't wait to explore it in more depth. I recently read Of Water and Spirit by Malidoma Some' and Spirit of Intimacy by Sobonfu Some' --both were really enlightening to me in regards to incorporating Spirit into everyday life and kindled an interest in becoming more aware. I look forward to all your developments adn thank you. Blessings, Dela

Crow! Thank you for all this great stuff you do and make available to us. I just glanced at the Shaman page and can't wait to make time to really read it. Guest guest
Crow... Winter's husband recorded it digitally, I believe. You can also record it to tape, then transfer the tape to your computer. I used the free RealProducer to make the RealAudio files for the web site audio meditations. It's very easy! Guest guest
Karyn: Thanks for the info on RealProducer. With any luck I'll be able to get that drumming audio done soon :-) Blessings, Crow " Karyn G. " wrote: > Crow... > > Winter's husband recorded it digitally, I believe. Guest guest
Dela: Malidoma and Sobonfu Some' are wonderful beings. I was privileged to meet them briefly in New Orleans several years ago when they did a drumming and lecture in a public park there, and had him autograph my copy of " Of Water and the Spirit " (a most excellent book about Dagara shamanism). They talk a lot about the importance of community and truth, honoring our mysteries and connection to the Earth. They were wonderful and gentle there in approaching a community issue involving racial and sexual discrimination and tension; I loved hearing them say that drumming was a form of prayer, and it was important for everyone to sit down and pray together for understanding. Thanks for writing! soulmite wrote: > Dear Crow, > I am also very interested in your journeying class....your shaman page is really > interesting and I can't wait to explore it in more depth. Guest guest
Audrey: Thanks for the thanks. I hope you find the material useful, I find I'm always tweaking things here and there on the site. If I get much bigger I may have to move ;-) I've added a visual exercise to the energy page, and have reworked the journaling page a little: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/energy.html http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/journal.htm Crow audreylee wrote: > Crow! > Thank you for all this great stuff you do and make available to us.
