Well, hey, might as well, eh?

 

So, we left the principal and his secretary biting their nails as the school bus

drove away to its uncertain fate. The principal gets restless and decides to

take

a walk, and when he comes back, there is a fleet of police cars outside the

school.

 

Running in, he is confronted by uniformed policemen, who ask him to sit down; in

his office is a weeping woman, who is introduced as Bobby's mother. The police

chasten him for withholding the video from the authorities... after showing the

video to his mother, the resemblance to Bobby was explained... the tape is not

from the future, not from Bobby at all, but from his father, who is separated

from

his mother and has manipulated the principal into rerouting the bus so that he

could stop it forcibly along its new, less populated route and kidnap his son.

They are in the process of trying to capture him and retrieve the boy.

 

The caveat? Bobby's mother sobs into her handkerchief... Bobby isn't allergic to

mangos. Bobby *loves* mangos.

 

The fade out is a focus on the horrified principal's face, as a series of

emotions

washes over it. Can you imagine what he must be feeling? A pretty powerful

statement for such a short piece of film ;-)
