Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know about The Circle of Healing: Deepening Our

Connections with Self, Others, and Nature, as reviewed in Magical Blend,

April, 2001:

Nature is a circle. Life is a circle. Western civilization has attempted

to make it all a square, but it short-circuits that way. This is a sweet,

gentle book. It serves to remind us that if we flow with the circle of

life, we can tap into the power of nature and our own inner knowledge. We

have the power to create a joyous and fulfilling life. This book is a

lovely, amiable nudge, reminding us to stop complaining and stop being a

victim. It shows us that we can take control of our lives, achieve

change, relax, and enjoy. - Michael Peter Langevin

I have a 2 year old Systran version. I hardly looked at it but I

remember thinking that with a custom dictionary it might be more

usable. One problem with all the systems is the terms and the herbs

which often we don't need to have English for, only Pinyin. if someone

also maybe we can explore making it more functional. For me it was

another project that never got off the ground.

Hello .

I am trying to find out whether there are figures on how much money patients and

insurers can save by having regular health screenings.( Cancer, diabetes,

cardiovascular diseases, etc. )would be great to get some hint where to look.

Thanks

Hi Steve,

You might want to try contacting some of the HMO's such as Kaiser as they would

have done extensive research in those areas. You just need to find the people

within those mega-giant corporations who work with such data. Good Luck - Matt
