Guest guest
Can I please ask the group for your prayers - for my wonderful cat Henry, who is coming to the end of his nine lives with me. Tomorrow he starts the next stage - which he's quite cool about, being the coolest, happiest, easiest and sweetest cat I've ever known. But I'm not cool about it (however much I try) - in fact I'm finding it pretty hard to deal with. What's worse is that he actually lives with my mother, who fell, broke her arm and is in hospital waiting for surgery. She knows he's ill, but not that he's this ill. And I don't know when to tell her - I can't tell before her surgery - what a time! But I don't know if I can lie effectively, saying that I'm waiting for test results. So - first, foremost, please send some energy to Henry, to keep him peaceful, keep him purring (you've never heard a purr like it) and stroll through that gateway. Then for my mother, for her broken arm and her distress... and for me, please .... I'm going to need some extra strength from somewhere over the next 24 hours. I know he's " only " a cat ... but I hope you understand how much he is loved and will be missed. Thank you all - I'm so grateful that I can ask such a group as you. Blessings to you Arabella
Guest guest
I have requested that when my cat goes, I be sedated for a week. Heartfelt prayers for you, dear. Anu
Guest guest
All my prayers and thoughts go out to you at this time. I have 2 cats and I know how I would feel if anything happened to them. Hope all goes well for your Mom also. Know that all of us in the group are praying for you to get though this OK. I lost my dearest friend of 38 years last year and I do know how you are feeling. Love to you, Ellie
Guest guest
You can count on my prayers and positive, powerful energetic thoughts to you and your family including your special furry friend. I wonder sometimes if that saying that Angels walk among us, isn't actually angelic. Unconditional spirits living life through the eyes of a loving dog or cat! They sure have figured out the unconditional love thing! That's for sure! Thanks for sharing!
Guest guest
Arabella, sharing tears and prayers for you, Henry and your mom. And a big email group hug, too, to make you feel a little better right now. Oh I know how it must hurt. Guest guest
Having lost my best friend of 17 years this past December, I send you warm wishes and prayer for the both of you. Try to get through it as best you can. There is nothing anyone can say to make it any easier, but you can realize what a great gift of love you are giving Henry by ending his suffering. Bless you for your unselfishness. Florie
Guest guest
Abs: An animal companion can be just as valued and important in your life as a human one, and it is our sorrow that many of them have much shorter lifespans. I am the housemate to two felines and although I have lived with cats before, these two have really become like children to my husband and I in many ways. I hope that your friend's transition is easy, and will put all of you... Henry, your mother and you, on our distant healing and sound healing circle lists.
