Oh, dear.

I hope your 'inner peace' of cake is easier to digest than that joke!

Does anyone have any less-caloric shortcuts to a quick feel-good state?

Insipid and mundane as it sounds, I can usually get a 'quick fix' of

feelgood simply by going to the garden and hanging around with our bamboo.

I swear, sometimes I can almost sense them saying 'thanks for taking such

good care of us'.

Then, of course, there's always the Reiki self-treatment that leads to a

great nap...

....and anything chocolate.

More original, less trite examples than the above would be appreciated.

Happy day to all of the nurturing people on this list.

> Dear Rusty:

For sure, nature does it for me. I love to be near swaying trees and

flowers. Also for me, quiet moments with my beloved.

Inner peace tho, seems to happen from the work I'm doing, personal work,

rather than the things I do. Sometimes I have to really struggle with

letting go of agenda's, negativity, fear, etc to find that peace.

I try to find one thing on the way to work to say " thank you " for. It

doesn't matter who you're talking to, if anyone. The act of realizing that

there's something good every day seems sufficient.
