Guest guest
Well, this is off topic, but one of my favorite social satirists, the author Douglas Adams, passed away this week at 49 of a sudden heart attack while working out. I'm sure he would have seen the irony in that. I'm imagining him having a lively discussion with Voltaire, Jonathan Swift, Ben Franklin, ee cummings, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe. If you haven't read any of Douglas Adams' books, you really should treat yourself to them, especially the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy and its sequels. You'll never leave home without your towel again ;-) If you are interested in reading the copious tributes on his page or would like to add a thought of your own, you can visit his web site, http://www.douglasadams.com -42- -- Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " --

My partner (at the time) and I used to have whole conversations in Adamspeak and I still find myself saying things like: 'We have normality!' >> -42-<< Yes, indeed. Guest guest
Sure, Connie, go ahead. And I think it is one of those fascinating little quirks that his intials are " DNA " , and he's crossed over in the same year that the human genome project was completed, and the first " space tourist " has gone into orbit ;-) Crow tink-im wrote: > > Dear Caroline: > Would you mind if I share this post with my group?
