Guest guest
*sigh* i'de love to ask for your opinion/experience/knowledge about a decision that i find difficult to take: today i've been to the dentist. she found a molar tooth with carries, so she digged and digged. it was close to the pulpa, but we decided to give it a try and avoid root canakl treatment so she cleaned the carries and filled it with a white stuff. but when the analgetics passed i started to feel sensitivity when drinking cold/hot water in tha place. the pain is not spontaneous and probably i can live with drinking not so cold/hot food (a lesson in moderation !!!) but still it is a limit, i am sagitarian so i love freedom. no limits please the other alternaive is a root canal and a crown which is a process i want very much to avoid. some inner voice whisper to me to do all that i can to avoid this i tried talking to the root asking it to be " gracious " to me and not deliver the pain,,, trying to convince it to continue living and still be tolerant to cold food etc... people may call this naivity but i felt a slight improvement I'de like to ask if anyone knows a physical/energetic method to convince roots to be more tolerant and withhold the pain - may be there is a natural non invasive way to weaken the nerves there by herbs, homeopathy , autosuggestion etc. you people helped me a great deal with your advice about the piece of wood in the finger. and i do remember all the options you suggested. I 'de also like to learn what you know about root canals, I know many naturopaths object to the severly. will appreciate any suggestion, thanks in advance Anat
Guest guest
Dear Anat: Sometimes a tooth will act up for a little while cause it was tramatized by the drilling, but most times it calms down after a bit. Try some de sensitizing tooth paste. I'm not crazy about root canals either, and will only do it, if it means that or loosing a tooth. My concern is in trapping infection up in the root. On a bottom tooth it's not as bad but a top tooth, the infection can go up into the sinuses and further. But just give the tooth some rest and TLC, tell it you promise not to hurt it anymore for awhile, and that you'll not add very hot/cold for itsake. It will probubly respond in a few days. love connie > " pine " <pine > > Tue, 15 May 2001 22:56:23 +0300 > > Re: root canal + mind influence > > *sigh* > > > i'de love to ask for your opinion/experience/knowledge about a decision that > i find difficult to take: > > today i've been to the dentist. she found a molar tooth with carries, so she > digged and digged. it was close to the pulpa, but we decided to give it a > try and avoid root canakl treatment so she cleaned the carries and filled > it with a white stuff. > > but when the analgetics passed i started to feel sensitivity when drinking > cold/hot water in tha place. the pain is not spontaneous and probably i can > live with drinking > not so cold/hot food (a lesson in moderation !!!) > > but still it is a limit, > i am sagitarian so i love freedom. no limits please > > > the other alternaive is a root canal and a crown which is a process i want > very much to avoid. some inner voice whisper to me to do all that i can to > avoid this > > i tried talking to the root asking it to be " gracious " to me and not deliver > the pain,,, > trying to convince it to continue living and still be tolerant to cold food > etc... > people may call this naivity but i felt a slight improvement > > > I'de like to ask if anyone knows a physical/energetic method to convince > roots to be more tolerant and withhold the pain - may be there is a natural > non invasive way > to weaken the nerves there by herbs, homeopathy , autosuggestion etc. > > > you people helped me a great deal with your advice about the piece of wood > in the finger. and i do remember all the options you suggested. > > I 'de also like to learn what you know about root canals, I know many > naturopaths object to the severly. > > > will appreciate any suggestion, > > thanks in advance > > Anat > > > > > >
Guest guest
connie your presence in this group is a blessing. thanks for your kind words! tlc i'll try listening carefully to the messages i get from the tooth. i think the periodontus is the most neglected tissue in medicine studies - yet it is such an important tissue. i heard that peolr who mediate feel their gums palpitating very strongly during meditations. this must have a meaning byond phisical body. much love Anat
Guest guest
Dear Anat: What a kind thing to say. It made my day today to wake up and see your words. Glad to be of any help. And let me know how it goes. I agree that the peridontus is very important. It makes all the difference if you can keep your teeth or not. Most of us neglect it, as I did. Now I have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year. My little gums are so happy with that. It made a difference in all my teeth issues. My teeth were actually loose, and now everyone is fine and happy, just by extra professional cleaning. People can do this at home using water picks etc, but I'm a clutz in the morning and always ended up with that water going up my nose LOL. There is a gum you can get at health food stores, call Peelu gum, which reportedly if very good for gums, has some herb in it. Lots of my customers rave about it. love connie > connie > > your presence in this group is a blessing. > > thanks for your kind words! > tlc > > i'll try listening carefully to the messages i get from the tooth. > i think the periodontus is the most neglected tissue in medicine studies - > yet it is such an important tissue. > i heard that peolr who mediate feel their gums palpitating very strongly > during meditations. this must have a meaning byond phisical body. > > much love > Anat
Guest guest
Amen to that. I had a problem tooth go until it developed an abcess between the roots. The three months that it took for them to finally decide to pull the tooth were a nightmare. I'm still working out some of the health problems from that experience. >tink-im <tink-im > > >Re: root canal + mind influence >Wed, 16 May 2001 04:11:38 -0400 > >Dear Anat: > Sometimes a tooth will act up for a little while cause it was tramatized >by the drilling, but most times it calms down after a bit.
