Guest guest
I'm not sure what a Feng-Shui Master is, but I'm sure that they are highly adept with regards to energy sensitivity. I understand what you are saying about how gentle he is, but there are occasions when it may not be appropriate for a teacher to be gentle. This doesn't imply a lack of compassion, but a simple presentation of facts which will no doubt challenge a belief most powerfully, and due to it's 'cold' nature, may appear to be cruel. In these instances, my feeling is that a student must attempt to use the teachers discipline. There are occasions when I have been going down the 'wrong' track, and the only way to bring me back on course without significant loss of time (the gentle route always takes a while!!) was to issue such a blunt challenge. I accept that there is a certain temperament required for this to work, and a level of understanding on the part of the student to respond to the teacher appropriately, otherwise the effect will be entirely negative and cause aversion within the student towards the teacher. As always, many paths, one mountain. -Anne-Louise.
