Guest guest
Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you could help me out. In December there was an accident close to my house where this truck went off the road and the young girl died and her father survived. When I heard it on the television, I instantly felt a presence, then when I drove over the River I felt it big time. I asked someone, and she confirmed what I was feeling, which is the little girl's presence. I asked her some questions, using muscle testing, and the purpose of this is that she would like me to contact her father. Now, I don't know them in any way and have no idea how to get in touch with him, and besides I am sure he would think I was a complete nut. This is all very new to me, and I am not sure I am ready to be doing this kind of communicating, just very unsure I guess. It is something I have always been interested in and would love to do this. I also have some different opinions from my husband and he has told me to forget it and let it be. Well, I believe she is trying to give me signs and I finally heard it last night. On the HWY very close to where she died there has been 3 accidents, bad ones, in the one I know someone died and the one last night, if someone survived it was a miracle. I don't believe she is like haunting this area and making people die, but I think my passing them is no accident. Weird that in about a month there has been 3 big accidents on a relatively normal part of the HWY, it isn't a dangerous part at all. While passing this I felt her and asked some questions, not many because it is always she wants me to contact her Dad. Oh, and there was a body found, a man, not long ago in the same river not far from where she died. I kept feeling a presence and didn't know why, then they found this body, the presence was gone. Or I thought so anyway. It is all very strange to me and not sure of what to do, I was just wondering if you guys had any insight into the signs. Thanks so much......Deb

I really feel like this would be a hard task you are called to do. Maybe a card or a letter starting out with " I know must think me a nut case, but I am sincere in my efforts to contact you at your daughters request from the other side... " Then leave it up to the man to get in touch with you. I sense you will feel no peace until you have at least attempted to fulfill this commitment. anyway I wish you peace in this hard task. Guest guest
Hi Linda, The muscle testing is something you perform with your own hands. I use my fingers, almost as if to cross them pushing down on the one finger, pointer one. I ask what a yes answer is and then a no answer. For people starting with it,use your middle finger and thumb with both hands interlocking them together. When you ask a question pull the hands to break the interlocking, the yes answer will stay together and the no will break apart. There are books that have sections of muscle testing in them, I have not seen one on just muscle testing. It is much like using a pendulum. With this person in the coma, It would be my belief that you could communicate with them in this manor. It is just you have to trust in the answers and not tothink you are making it up because this is what you want it to be. I know when I first began using muscle testing I always thought it was because I wanted it to be that answer, the more I did it the more I began to trust it. It is basically communicating with your higher self. I do this all the time, especially with illness to find out if it is something I need to be concerned about. I have been lost, something I do all the time, and I have found where I needed to by trusting in the answers. I was amazed the first time I found this bank after making several turns and when I turned the last corner it was there, wow....It made a believer out of me.I think that with this person if you were there asking the questions and getting the answers you might be able to see the answers coming through their body to confirm. You need to! be really aware. If it were me, I would do a meditation there with them and ask to connect with their soul and then start asking the questions. I would re-ask the questions each time to make sure. When I first communicated with this girls spirit I asked over and over and kept getting the same answers. Sometimes it can be confusing if the question is to hard, or put in the wrong way. I was very fortunate that I did some spiritual healing and she used this method and so I learned how from her. Good Luck and please do write back and let us know what happens. Just remember to have faith in it and trust the answers.Practice first, on stuff you know the answers to. Be sure they are put in yes and no questions and not something in the future, future is tough to get the right answers. You know, the body knows what it needs to heal and maybe you can communicate with this person's body to see what it needs to wake up. There must be some fear that needs to be cleared so it can let go of this comfort zone. The body reacts in such strange ways sometimes. Oh, something you might ask is, is there any deception in that answer, this will help in trustingthe answers. Before you begin with the questions with this person as for them to respond with a sign with their body and then watch closely for the sign. Good Luck!!! Guest guest
Hi Deb, I was reading along and you mentioned something about muscle testing.I am wondering if this is the same technique used in communicating coma patients. My friends son is in a coma, and i have been told there are ways of communicating with people in coma's by way of reading subtle body movements whether it be muscle, body heat etc.If this sounds to be the same thing you are talking about, could you go into better detail of this, and do you know if there is any specific word for this, and where i can find information about it?Thanks so much for any help you may be able to offer. Blessings, Linda W. *snipped* I asked her some questions, using muscle testing, and >the purpose of this is that she would like me to contact her father. _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
Deb, Having been at the same place you're at, wondering whether to help this girl, I think there's a number of things to take into consideration. Is this what you want to do? Is this the next step on your path? I believe there will always be a spirit with a request or a need, just like people who are living. Do you have the time and the energy and knowledge of self protection to work in this area. Because it wont just stop at the little girl. You'll sense *thing to be done* wherever you go. I was very open to doing this kind of work, I tend to naturally sense energy of the departed in houses . Then it got to a point where there were more people in my house who were dead than living and it felt too crowded.*g* So I said no more. The demands of my family had to come first. Guest guest
Deb... Kate raises a couple of good points. If you are able to communiate with discarnates, you may end up spending more of your time than you would like doing that, and not all discarnates are pleasant " people " do deal with. Discarnates are typically very much the same as the people they were before they transitioned, so you can " meet " all types. At the same time, discarnates are typically stuck between dimensions, and they need help to complete their transition. You may be able to do that from time to time. If this work appeals to you, you will need to develop the ability to protect yourself. You might wish to read SHAMAN, HEALER, SAGE, by Alberto Villoldo, as a start. Meanwhile, see if you can find out why the little girl needs to contact her father and why she can't do that directly. Remember when dealing with discarnates, you need a balance of compassion and firmness. Tell the little girl to remember who she is and where she came from. Good luck. -- --------------------------- Joel P. Have others had success with this? My husband has had a job offer in another state (we are from PA and the offer is in AL). It came out of the blue -- he had not been on a job search. Something tells us we should take the job, yet we can't figure out why. We love our home, our families are here, we like our current jobs, and we like snow! It would mean that I would give up my business. Yet, something keeps pulling us to this move. I've nearly made myself ill over the indecision. We'd like to have a little dove bring a note to us with the answer. I'm sure you all have been in a similar situation. I feel I have that good ol' women's intuition, but you all are so very much more in touch with your inner self. Any suggestions other than this possible muscle testing to guide us in making a right decision? P.S. I did a few tests with answers that I pretty-much knew, like you suggested, while interlocking the thumb and middle finger in a chain-like interlock and pulling, it seemed to work. Then, I asked the question should we go and the answer was YES, GO. Now if it would only tell me WHY ;o) -- Lynn lcokie *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* " True success lies in gathering the precious things out of each day as it goes by " *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Guest guest
Hi, Deb... The best advice I can give you is to get in touch with someone who is a professional medium and has a good reputation, and ask him/her what they would do in a situation like this. They can tell you both about increasing your skill AND what the common reactions of the living are to being approached by someone communicating with the dead. The only person I can recommend is Dr. Lauren Thibodeau and her email address is lauren. Her web site is http://www.drlauren.com. I'm sure she could give you some good advice on how to handle this situation and your feelings. Guest guest
Deb: I'm finally getting around to this; it looks like you've had some good and solid advice from the group already so I'm going to try to rein myself in <G> debdowap wrote: > > I asked her some questions, using > muscle testing, and > the purpose of this is that she would like me to contact her > father. It could be that you can send him and his family a sympathy card via the newspaper or another media outlet that covered the story, without directly contacting him. If your indicators are that she is safe and happy and wants her family to know that, then that is really all you need to say. Many people look for signs of that when they lose a family member abruptly. Perhaps they have not been aware that she has tried to contact them herself. > This is > all very new > to me, and I am not sure I am ready to be doing this kind of > communicating, > just very unsure I guess. It is something I have always been > interested in > and would love to do this. I also have some different opinions > from my > husband and he has told me to forget it and let it be. Forgetting it is easier said than done, but you could also pray for the family to be open to communicating with her if it is appropriate and leave it at that. If you are truly interested in developing skills in mediumship, there are good ways to do that. Contacting a medium is one place to start; another way is to educate yourself in your intuitive skills and practice in a more structured way. Karyn's site http://www.seekerscircle.com has some good courses on developing intuition, for instance. She also moderates a Club on Intuition Development. I also co-moderate Paranormal_Talk at (it tends to be slow) and this subject crops up occasionally. I don't know where you are, but there is a school in the UK (The Arthur Findlay College: http://www.snu.org.uk/index2.htm ) that trained a friend of mine who is a medium in Boston, John Holland, and I have a URL for the Morris Pratt Institute, which has formal training in spiritualism and other areas: http://www.morrispratt.org I think that mediumship is a calling. It is certainly not the same as other kinds of intuitive work, such as the personal reading and medical intuitive work I do. Like someone said recently, you can really open the door on a Pandora's box when you make it clear to the unincorporated that you are open to being a conduit as their message service, so it's not something you should do lightly or without preparation. > It is all > very strange to me and not sure of what to do, I was just > wondering if you > guys had any insight into the signs. > Thanks so much......Deb > It also sounds as if that particular area, because of its history of multiple fatal traumas, may have some pretty strong energy related to it. In many cases, what we perceive as 'ghosts' are simply the strong energy leftovers from a trauma, not the spirits themselves, which may have moved on but left that loop of energy discharge like a film negative at the site. In some cases, when a spirit does not realize they are dead or they are stubborn, they don't move on. In those cases a helpful 'push' towards the light, a simple acknowledgement to them that their work is done and they can go on about their business, may be all that is needed. If they are intractable, the area could probably be cleared by a person or group that is familiar with spirit releasing methods. I don't like the term exorcism and don't believe that spirits need to be 'cast out' any more than live people do, just encouraged to move along and quit loitering. Unincorporated spirits who have not moved on tend to be real 'one note Charlies'. They obsess on something and won't let go of it until somebody pays attention to them. Why should they give up? They have nothing else to do in the limbo they're in. Your 'little girl' sounds like that. Another tendency of these 'stuck' spirits is to hang on to human emotions such as fear, anger, spite and the like, or their desires for human habits such as eating, smoking, drinking, drug use or sex (grounding behaviors). They may have impossible physical complaints, such as telling you " I'm cold. " And if you encounter a spirit who wants revenge, I guarantee you they have not moved on yet, they're still in limbo land. There's nothing particularly romantic about lingering after you are dead. There is no reason to believe that you cannot continue to contact your loved ones 'from the other side' if you still feel it is relevant once you get there ;-) I watch John Edward almost every night on the SciFi channel, and I have to say that I wouldn't want to be doing that on a daily basis, being a phone service for the dead. But it seems to be helpful on some level for some people to hear someone else tell them what they can get for themselves if they sit still and listen. -- --- Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " --- Caroline " Crow " Abreu AIM: CaroCrow Messenger: NRGbalance URL: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance Personal and Medical Intuitive Readings: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/readings.html " We see things not as they are but as we are.
