Some ideas ...

Many years ago I bought and read a book by Stone called _Vitamin C, the

healing factor_. It told how crucial C is for body healing. IMO it's

important to take a C that includes the cofactors that are present in nature

- NOT just ascorbic acid.

If it were me I'd also be sure I was on a really good multivitamin. I'd also

drink a protein drink that contains all the essential amino acids. The body

uses amino acids for repair. My thought is to speed the recovery process and

get you feeling better fast.

 

Another possibility - hypnosis to help with pain issues without drugs.

 

Caveat: I'm not a medical professional or a hypnotist. But I have been

studying holistic approaches to health for over two decades.
