Guest guest
Hello All: We have quite a few newbies, and hopefully some of you have poked around in the archives to read some of the threads and get an idea of what kinds of things we talk about here. Everyone seems to be on vacation this week!?! Sometimes it seems like feast or famine with the list groups, all of the lists I'm on have been slow this week. Perhaps it is anticipation for the big eclipse on the Summer Solstice? At any rate, it will be good to hear from my reticent children here ( " You never call! You never write! " LOL) Blessings, Crow

Guest guest
Dear Crow: My life has gotten in the way of my web awareness lately, Boy, you'd think I'd get my priorities straight wouldn't ya? LOL We've been taking weekend sprints to the country to look for a certain piece of land, we'll know it when we see it, for a tai chi lodge for the future. We have little money, so the land has to be really special, ie, cheap. But it's been really wonderful, just the process, of getting out and roaming around the country side and discovering new beauty everywhere we go. Aside from a tiny bit of poisen ivy and a few skeeter bites, I know its been really good for my body. Amazing the healing property of just getting where its quiet and green, un air conditioned and no small patches of tiny trimmed bushes with mulch around them. The wild life, although hidden from view, crouching hedgehog, hidden rabbit, add to the groundedness I get from such vistas. Soon it will be too humid and hot sticky in my town to enjoy much more trapsing, and I'll be back in air conditioning and back on line with great gusto. Sorry to have abandoned you dear crow. I'm here lurking, tree drunk, thought free. love connie > " Caroline Abreu " <crow > > Mon, 18 Jun 2001 16:54:13 -0000 > > My, You All Are Quiet Lately > > Hello All: > > We have quite a few newbies, and hopefully some of you have poked > around in the archives to read some of the threads and get an idea of > what kinds of things we talk about here. Guest guest
The eastern outskirts around Cincinnati Ohio, the land overlooks the Ohio river and gets a view of Kentucky. Good guess. love connie > StLReiki > > Mon, 18 Jun 2001 17:05:49 EDT > > Re: My, You All Are Quiet Lately > > What part of the country is this.....It sounds so much like Missouri or many > places in the midwest I guess anyway just curious > >> . >> The wild life, although hidden from view, crouching hedgehog, hidden >> rabbit, add to the groundedness I get from such vistas. Guest guest
Connie: Well, you have the better of it, mosquitoes and all, if you've been spending time in the great outdoors. We lucked out here on the coast, Allison had burnt and blown herself out by the time she made it here and was gone in an evening... it flooded down towards Boston, but we got a lot of fog and sabre rattling. Good luck in locating the perfect piece of property for your work. Keep your eyes peeled, you just never know. I don't mind a bit of a slow spot as long as it means everyone is busy out having a life... it's summer, after all, and those are certainly short in the North. And being tree drunk doesn't sound like a bad thing to me!
