As an herbalist, I have run across my share of people with skin cancer...80% of them were not " sun " people...rarely went in the sun or avoided it. A couple women I remember in particular...one woman had it on the bottom of her big toe...! And this woman was as pale as the screen on this computer. She always avoided the sun...and another woman had a spot removed from her " behind " and as she said, it never sees the light of day! Guess the point I'm trying to make is we are always trying to blame something else, when much of what happens to us comes from within. I was taught that the sun is a blessing, and provides nutrients for us to absorb, etc...and that yes, it will cause us to perspire at times thus forcing out toxins from the skin. These toxins are what react with the skin and can lead to skin ailments. Again, I don't want to argue with anyone, as we all form our own beliefs, but just wanted to enter another thought as possibility. Katy Master Herbalist PS Arabella, definately are options to avoiding surgery for your friend...did you want to email me regarding this? otherwise I can post suggestions on this list. Guest guest
Thank you Ed for your explanation. I am a psychology student and have been over the past few years been very interested in the comprehensive view that TCM shares as relating to mind/body. What is your background by the way? Are you a student in a TCM program? Erik --- Chinese Traditional Medicine wrote: >
