Guest guest
Audrey, I read a wonderful book years ago called " The Dance of Anger " . So often when we re-establish or change boundaries and others do not like or want the changes, so they do their best to change us back. It is so hard to stand firm in the face of the angry mob. The more we stay centred and allow others their truth and beliefs too, the easier it becomes. Good Luck and practise, practise, practise. No-one got good at anything by trying it just once. Guest guest
Ninox, This is the trouble I have with my sister: I want her to change. As long as that is true, I can't allow her her truth and beliefs and will resent that she doesn't allow me mine and round and round we go. I also have Always wanted to do something (everything) right the first time. No practice. No mistakes. Of course, this results in me not being willing to risk trying a lot of things..... I'm working on risking more.
