Guest guest
crow, did you ever notice that a rainbow will make a complete circle, into your heart, when you see one(rainbow), and complete it's circle? I had an awesome experience, at a crucial time, to realize this. You feel like you have been hugged by the heavens, when it happens, on it's own, completely, to your under-arm, and into the front of your chest. It happened! And I feel blessed by it. rose

Guest guest
Rose: I have always loved rainbows, but I never really knew how spectacular they could be until we moved to the ocean. I have had the pleasure of seeing so many here, and several have been that amazing " bowl " type that encircle the sky over the sea like a big ring. Once, when Mani and I were out walking after a rain, there was a double rainbow (one 'flipped upside down' beneath the other) stretched across the sky. I'd never seen anything like it. People were coming out of their houses and businesses all along the beach to stare at it. It made me think how primal we still are as humans, and how so many of our myths emerged about natural occurences. How could you look at such an awesome thing and not tremble, not feel that something bigger was happening than a simple refraction of light? The rainbows I refer to in my sig line have to do with the exquisite beauty that lives below the visible surface of each one of us. To me, that is the important part, and it takes a soft and careful eye to see past appearances to the true nature of our fellow beings. As the Fox in " The Little Prince " says, " It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. " Thank you for your story.
