Guest guest
According to my understanding, Jesus did have women disciples. Much of the written biblical information was removed and re-shuffled by the powers that were in charge of such things in the later years. The most major and extensive restructuring was overseen by Pope Constantine and carried out by the Council of Nicea. I have heard murmurings over the years that the Vatican has many such documents that are hidden from all but the most innermost circles. Some of these rumors say that Jesus taught his healing methods to the public and this infuriated the power mongers. It follows that he would have taught to the women and they would have passed it down to their daughters. Perhaps in later years much of the the last remnants of this knowing was lost in the church led witch burnings. My argument with " purebred " as apposed to " mongrel " Christians is; (I am so far removed from the bloodlines that others are not even sure I am of the family; but I know! ;-)) how can the Holy Bible be the be all and end all of Spiritual teaching when so much of it is missing and so much has been edited by people of dubious motivation? It can be very enlightening to read some of the translations directly from the Aramaic language which was the language that Jesus spoke. As a for instance, many scholars believe that the first words in the Bible are actually " In the beginning was the " sound " .... " Brings a whole new meaning to the concept of sound healing to me. Some good places to look for this info are most Michael Ryce sources and Greg Braden's " Isaiah Effect " . Veronica > > I believe, as a Christian, that Jesus was all > inclusive.
