Guest guest
hi there patti and everyone i lurk alot on this list .....and think heaps and write little... i have worked as a employment consultant and redundancy officer over the last 10 years as well as being a reiki master and clairvoyant some thoughts of mine are : buy or get from the library the book called " What color is my parachute " .... it is a job search book that links the whole self to the process ... it has good soul food in it other things i would ask you to ask yourself how did your last job limit you? ..... and to define these...write them out ....... ask yourself daily for at least a week... ...so that your eyes are open to these factors before you embark on your next job, what did you love about your job? ....also list these also list why you are grateful for being fired ....there has to be benefits ....even though they may not be so obvious today how is my self worth linked to my working self? when you get a few answers to these questions i am sure that some light will be shone on the areas of you that feel darkened by your recent experience and allow you to consciously embark on your next job another great thing about being fired ..is that you get to lay around ...be angry, calm, share, care, play, laugh, complain, connect, confirm, visualise, treat, treasure, release, respect, inspect, inform, inspire, invent, intellectualise, interrupt, input, output, sing, bake, bask, beautify, be blonde, obsess, nap, nurture, nut-out, zone-out, gloat, groan, grunt, ponder, pontifcate, philosophise and party all without deadlines i do suggest setting a day / date when you will start looking for work ..... give yourself a weekend or a week if you can afford it and know most of all that all realtionships end to make way for a better one, even if this is with yourself lots of love carol
