Guest guest
I believe, as someone else in the group has stated, that talking and listening is also healing. I have some clients that just like to share their lives, daughters weddings, new babies, etc etc. I never ask why they wish to do this, but I feel if they have the confidence to open up I should be there to listen, that is just my opinion. If the talking really is becoming repetitous then I will tell them that they need to relax and take this time to enjoy themselves and treat themselves to a quiet space. I have realized also that there are many people that are without cantact with other people for whatever reason. They want to make this time for them special and because of this, they want to share. I feel that this sharing is as important as the massage, especially for these types of people. So many times after a massage where the person has been so verbal, I receive a hug as they are leaving. A genuine, warm hug as a thank you for taking the time to listen just makes my job so worth while and I find it so healing for myself. Well thats my 2 cents on this topic..... My best to all of my friends here Noreen

Guest guest
Oh Carol, I am but a fool...LOL With all the talk lately about what we can send by hitting reply and the digests, and the repetitions, I think I became too careful.... Thanks for catching me by my wings so I dont go over the edge completely... :-) Noreen ---- Friday, August 24, 2001 06:57:12 Re: Talkative Clients Apropos de rein?
