Guest guest
Most of us are trying to go on with life, but it's far from business as usual. I'm in the Maryland suburbs of DC, and the streets are very quiet, the schools are closed, and the government is open, but on liberal leave. Most folks have opted to be home with their families. Sounds of jets overhead are a bit disturbing. They have been constant since yesterday morning. I wanted to forward some info to the massage therapists in the group. The AMTA has a Massage Emergency Response Team, and is seeking volunteers to work with the disaster and demolition workers. The site is as follows (sorry, I can't hyperlink the text: www.amtamassage.org/about/aboutMERT.htm The ABMP has a response team, they are taking phone calls at 800-458- 2267. I'm thinking that they need help other than massage (specifically) therapists, that healers of all sorts would be useful at this time. And we all can continue to send our prayers, and reiki healing to the victims, their families, the workers, our loved ones, and of course, ourselves. Especially now, love and light, Leslie Knee
