Mercy Corps is saddened and shocked by the

acts of terrorism that were perpetrated in the

United States Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers

are with the victims and their families.

 

Terrorism anywhere in the world primarily affects

the innocent, and we saw the horrific results

of this Tuesday. For 22 years, Mercy Corps'

purpose has been to reduce suffering, aid those in

need, and expand global understanding.

 

These events remind us of the vital nature of

this work, and call us to renew our commitment to

building a world where peace, hope and opportunity

triumph over hatred, bloodshed and despair.
